Batavia Boutique Hotel

This boutique hotel was spectacular. The attention to detail was amazing. It is impeccably decorated. The room was spacious, and had everything you need. We even had a small balcony. We had bathrobes slippers, electric plugs on both sides of the bed, mini bar, Nespresso, machine with milk included, toiletries, blow dryer,Safe. The soaking tub was amazing, and they even had bad salts so you could use them. You would get fresh vanity kits every day. The Wi-Fi wasn’t very good, and the TV wasn’t very good either. That is the only bad thing we have to say. The staff was amazing.Tembo was very attentive to anything we needed. The breakfast was amazing, and we probably had the best Egg Benedict we’ve ever had. you would get in and out of the property with a keypad code. The location couldn’t be perfect, a block away from all restaurants and everything else. The area was very quiet.

This was a great place to stay, with lots of character and quirky finishes. Our room was super spacious, with a big ensuite bathroom (huge, circular bath and walk in shower) Breakfast was all fresh and delicious. Temba looked after us from beginning to end. He did everything and did everything well. Temba met us as we arrived and he parked our car in the secure parking. He showed us to our room. In the morning he brought us breakfast. Super professional and super friendly. Thank you for everything, Temba.

The staff were incredible. No request was too much. The location was also another pro; situated in the heart of the old town, we hardly needed to use our car. We could easily walk to dinner or to go shopping. I also need to call out the incredible quality of everything; from the beds to the linen, all the way through to the excellent breakfast.

Lovely boutique hotel with old world charm in a quiet street close to restaurants and attractions. Beautiful rooms, excellent service by friendly and helpful staff. We took advantage of the recommended tours and events which made our stay even more magical. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

I loved the oldy worldly feel of the hotel and the room. The staff are great and the breakfast was amazing with a huge array of fresh fruit, yogurt, cold cuts and the choice of hot breakfast. It was very centrally located within a very shorty flat walk to the Main Street ( church st ). I would recommend this boutique hotel to friends and family . For me there were no negatives .
